Loretta Mueller has been involved in agility since 2003 with her first rescue dog Ace. Since then she has been involved in a variety of dog training activities including USBCHA herding, competitive obedience, rally obedience, service dog and agility training.

In 2007 Loretta started Full Tilt Dog Training in Buckman, Minnesota–and the rest is history!

She has achieved ADCH’s with 3 Border Collies—Zip (retired due to back injury), Klink and Gator with Gator achieving his ADCH at the age of 2 ½. Her newest dog Lynn, is running in Masters and is currently working on her ADCH—having already made her mark with wins at the local levels and earning Regional Semi-Finals Byes.

Loretta and her dogs are no strangers to the finals at USDAA World Championships. Since attending her first Nationals in 2008, she has competed with one or both dogs in each of the finals:

In addition to her border collies, Loretta also is heavily involved in helping her husband, Andy Mueller, train his Jack Russell Terrier “Crackers”, who, at the age of 3 ½, will be representing the US at the IFCS World Championships this coming May. Crackers ha

many accomplishments, including 2nd place in Grand Prix Finals and 5th place DAM Team at the 2011 USDAA World Championships. And this is his very first agility dog!

Loretta has an ability to work with all different breeds of dogs, she believes there is never a “one size fits all” method and is very good at working with each dog and handler as an individual team to help them succeed. One of her specialties is building drive in dogs that otherwise might be a challenge, using positive methods!

I have been taking agility lessons with Meagan ever since she moved to
Salisbury. She is a gifted instructor who tailors lessons and suggestions to
each individual dog and handler, not a “one size fits all” approach. She is
just as generous with her time and knowledge with teams that other
instructors would have given up on as she is with people who aspire to National Championships. She is very supportive of her students both on and off the field and never hesitates to help us figure out the best way to run courses at trials. She has helped me, an overweight, disabled, non-athletic handler, get the best out of my dogs – to the point where I have earned an agility championship on one dog and am one qualifying score from an agility championship on the other dog. I am proud to consider her not just our instructor but our friend.
